World's Greatest Shampoo

Secretstashbig My darling husband got me several lovely gifts for Christmas, including a new snowboard and a Nintendo DS Lite.  But the gift that suprised (and delighted) me the most was my "Secret Stash" gift box from Lush.  It's their biggest gift box with all of their best selling products in it.  It's like having my own Lush store in my bathroom!  There are tons of great new products to try, and some most products that I already have (but the great thing about Lush is that these products are consumable, so I'll be needing more!)

One of the best new discoveries this wonderful gift has presented is Lush's BIG Shampoo.  It's the best stuff in the world!  It's really odd stuff.  Comes in a little2000 plastic tub and when you open it, you see a big, grainy paste.  (That's the big granules of sea salt.)  You dip your fingers in and goop it on your head.  Scrub up, and rinse.

Mind you, I'm not a shampoo afficionado.  I mean, there's ones I like and ones I don't but I don't usually make a big deal about them.  I'm telling you, this BIG shampoo made a dramatic difference in my hair.  My hair is CRAZY soft and CRAZY shiny.

I follow it up with their American Cream conditioner and I am good to go.  My daughter used them both today and her hair is downright glossy.

Try it out, tell me what you think.  I'm willing to bet you'll love it.

Seriously great mascara

I got a new mascara that you must try.   It's called "Kiss Me" mascara, and it's made by a company called BlincInc.   It goes on clean and neat, without clumping.   After two minutes it "sets" and forms a tube around the lash.   It doesn't smudge or run when wet.   It completely stays on.   Then, to get it off, all you have to do is use warm water and gentle pressure (washing your face does the trick), and the little "tubes" slide right off your lashes.   It's super-good stuff.   I got mine at Sephora.  Here's a link to a cool animated demo of how the stuff works.

Tattooed Love Girl

I got a tattoo!

Leslies_tattoo It's located between my shoulder blades at the top of my back.  I had it done at Slave to the Needle in Seattle.  Andrea did it.  She did an awesome job and I'm really happy with it.  This was a way for me to mark all the personal changes and development I've gone through in the last two years, so it has a lot of significance for me.

Oh, and yes, it HURT.

Camel Toe

Check out my new kicks:

Nikesplittoe_2 They're a Nike athletic shoe, and though you can't see it in this picture, they have a split toe!  There is a separate spot for my big toe and then the rest of my toes go off in a separate compartment.  They were pretty comfy in the store, but now I'm a little worried.  See, my big toes are kinda crooked, and these shoes are assuming they're not.  My big toes are feeling a little bit achey from being nudged in a straight direction.  Good thing I bought 'em at Nordstrom.
