Read the Classics in one night.

Look, we all want to read the classics.  Wait...lemme rephrase that.  We all want to have read the classics. It's so embarrassing to be at cocktail parties where someone tosses off a literary bon mot and you're sitting there putting the last cocktail olive on your final finger and you look up and go "Huh?"  But who has the time (or the patience) to actually sit down and read these books?  Especially now that we're out of school and don't have any profs forcing us to do it?

(My friend Mary Powers, that's who.  But she's irittatingly literate.)

Well, my friends, I've discovered the answer:

Book-a-minute classics

(Check it out, it's a very funny site.)

100 Greatest Novels of All Time

Or so Time magazine says.  Gee, I've only read 15.  I'd better get crackin'!
