I'm going to kill Steve at The Sneeze for laying this earworm on me:

Apparently when this gem was uncovered on the web last fall there was great debate as to whether or not 

it was real or "faked". The video quality was too good for something so old...the outfits too "on the nose" to

be actually from the early 80's. The song too simplistic and silly...right?

Nope. It's real. And it gets even better. 

Check out this email that Sal Polichetti (the lead singer with the groovy hair) sent to Idolator.com when they dared to question the veracity of this fine musical presentation.

(Sounds like maybe he and Jesus had a falling out)
