R.I.P., Jazzy.

Sad news. Our cat Jasmine died last night. Her liver gave out and when we took her to the vet it became clear that she was horribly sick and there wasn't much we could do, so we had to euthanize her. I stayed with her while it happened. I cried and cried. Very hard to make that call. I've never had to do it before. But I hope she's in a better place and I know she's out of pain.

Fit as a Fiddle and Ready for Love

I've been a Steve Martin fan for 30 years.  "A Wild and Crazy Guy" was the first album I ever bought with my own money.  (That's a meme question right there, eh?  "What's the first album you ever bought with your own money?")  I remember when this show aired in 1981.  I was impressed with it then, I'm even more impressed with it now.  Steve Martin is amazing.  So was Gregory Hines (God rest his soul).  Enjoy!

Duffergeek, that dashing star of golf course and (computer) screen, has a new job!  After eleven years at Microsoft, he's run off to join the circus. The rock 'n' roll circus, that is.
