Ahh I love Japan <33
Today began with a shopping trip and ended with a concert. What could be better?
I wrote a whole long rant, but I’m deleting it and starting over because I really only wrote it to distract myself from my freezing cold feet and it was boring. ☺
MY DAY IN LESS WORDS THAN BEFORE:
1. Breakfast
2. Went to the AM/PM across the street and bought onigiri!
3. Went to a temple and made a wish on one of the little wish-boards!
4. Went for a walk around the area and tried a White Chocolate Mocha (yummy)
5. Went to Ueno, and walked all around the lake, which made my feet kind of hurt
6. Went to **OIONE** in Shinjuku, which made my feet hurt more but I was too distracted by clothes to notice. Bought umbrella, new Lolita shoes, and some punk jeans (two of which were on my “things I’d like to buy” list)
7. WENT TO LM.C CONCERT! Omgomgomg I love these guys SO MUCH!!
Okay ranting about the concert. They’re a fairly new band (I think they formed around October of ’06) so they haven’t got that much music out yet. As such, they played every song they have! This means I got to hear all my favorite songs, like Boon! and Boost Busterz and…every other LM.C song :3
The downsides:
1. Maya does very long MCs (which is when the band just talks to the audience). This is lovely but I do not understand him. As such, this was 25 minutes of me reflecting on how…
2. MY FEET HURT A LOT. A LOT A LOT.
3. AND IT WAS REALLY REALLY HOT. Japanese people tend to crank up the heat in their buildings to begin with (or so I’ve experienced over the last two days) and with ~1500 people, tightly packed, all jumping up and down and waving their arms around in unison, (because that’s what you do at Japanese concerts) it got REALLY HOT. So combined with the fact that I was also jumping up and down and waving my arms around, I sweat. A lot. Gross ☹
But I bought tour merchandise~!! I got a “muffler towel” (shaped like a scarf, made as a towel, the possibilities are endless!), an armwarmer, and a t-shirt :3 and then I got a little elastic thing that apparently has a thousand different uses. (You don’t realize how different ways you can wear something until you see 200 Japanese girls who all have the same merchandise)
Uh, so anyway, my feet were ready to give out on me entirely, so my mom told me to soak them in cold water. So I did for 20 minutes and it wasn’t fun and now I’m going to sleep GOOD NIGHT
